          Eligibility criteria for B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing

          • Candidate should be an Indian Citizen
          • Age Limit- She should not be more than 17 years before 31st December 2017.
          • Gender - female candidates can only apply
          • Educational Qualifications- Candidate should have passed 12th or equivalent course from a recognized University/ Board or Institution with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English subjects.
          Eligibility criteria for B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic)
          • Candidate should be an Indian Citizen
          • Age Limit- She should not be more than 17 years before 31st December 2017.
          • Gender- only female candidates can apply.
          • Educational Qualifications - Candidate should have passed Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery). The applicant should be a Registered Nurse or Midwifery.
          Eligibility for AIIMS M.Sc. Nursing 2018 Exam
          • Nationality - Should be an Indian citizen.
          • Gender -only female candidates can apply.
          • Educational Qualifications-Candidate should be a Registered Nurse or Midwifery.
          • Candidate should have passed the B.Sc in Nursing with Post Certificate or B.Sc in Nursing with 4 years or B.Sc (Hons.) in Post Basic.
          A General or OBC candidate should have at least 60% marks. The reserved category candidates should have scored at least 55% marks to become eligible for the exam.

          AIIMS do conduct entrance exams every year around May/June for the B.Sc and M.Sc nursing student recruitment. Management conducts a separate pattern of exams for all 3 courses and here are the details.

          B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic)

          This exam will be included with 4 subjects with the duration of 2 hours. A notable point is negative marking is applicable here. Details are provided below.

          Exam Pattern for B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic)

          This exam does have 2 phases. One is a written exam and the second one is a personal interview.

          • Phase One: Written exam
          1. Number of questions: 70
          2. Duration: 90 minutes
          • Phase Two: Personal Interview 30 Marks
          Exam Pattern for M.Sc Nursing

          This exam is one phased exam with 90 questions to be answered within 1 hour and 30 minutes.

          • Medium of Exam: English
          • Type of Questions: Objective type questions
          • Number of Questions: 90
          • Duration of the exam: 1 and half hour
          Eligibility criteria for B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing
          • Nationality - Should be an Indian citizen.
          • Age Limit- Should not be more than 17 years old by December 31st, 2017.
          • Gender - Only female candidates can apply.
          • Educational Qualifications- A candidate should have passed standard 12th or equivalent from a recognized University/ Board or Institution with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English subjects.
          Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) 
          • Nationality- Should be an Indian citizen.
          • Age Limit- Should not be more than 17 years old by December 31st, 2017.
          • Gender- Only female candidates can apply.
          • Educational Qualifications- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. The applicant should be a Registered Nurse or Midwifery.
          Eligibility for AIIMS M.Sc. Nursing 2018 Exam
          • Nationality - Should be an Indian citizen.
          • Gender - Only female candidates can apply
          • Educational Qualifications - The applicant should be a Registered Nurse or Midwifery.The applicant holding the certificate of B.Sc in Nursing with Post Certificate or B.Sc in Nursing with 4 years or B.Sc (Hons.) in Post Basic.General or OBC candidate should have at least of 60% marks and the reserved category candidates should have at least 55% marks to be eligible for the exam.
          How to Apply

          AIIMS receive applications via its own web portal. By filling the necessary information, you can be one of the candidates of your dream educational institute. Here we are listing application submission procedure.

          • Open the web page https://www.aiimsexams.org/
          • Go to the ‘Academic Courses’ tab on the homepage
          • Click on the suitable course option under ‘Undergraduate/Postgraduate’ lists as per your qualification status
          • A new page will appear. Click on the registration/login link from the same page.
          • Proceed by clicking at the ‘click here’ button under new registration for completing the registration process.
          • Once the registration completed, login credentials will send out to your registered email ID.
          • Login to the portal with provided ID and password. You may change password it after the successful login.
          • Fill the remaining personal details and upload the required documents
          Once all the details are submitted, proceed for application payment fee through online.You can take a printout of the confirmation form for reference.The application fee for all the courses is the same. However, differ with reservation categories
          Unreserved/other backward class and general candidates have to pay 1500 rupees
          Scheduled Caste/Scheduled tribe have to pay 1200 rupees.
          Person with benchmark disabilities need not pay since they are exempted from application fee structure.
