Format Of The Examination
The examination is conducted mainly on the basis of four language skills, which are listening, reading, writing and speaking respectively.
Listening : The listening test mainly consist two sections. Section A and Section B respectively, which includes two different kind of professional test. In section B, the candidates are asked to read two passages on a general healthcare topic and need to answer 8-10 multiple choice questions for each text.
Writing : This test is involved with writing a letter. The letter is at any format like official letter, a letter of warning, or a letter for a group of people. Candidates are given case notes, which must be included in the letter.
Speaking : in this section one-to-one interaction is conducted with a starting of a short interview about the candidate’s academic and professional background. Here mainly happens a role play among the health expert and the patient. Candidates have maximum 2-3 minutes to prepare for each role play.
